This weekend was round 8 of the BMKR championship and the penultimate race for the 2022 series.
I qualified on the 3rd row of the grid in 5th position, which was my best start at Bayford. The start went well and I made it up to 3rd. The race, as always in the Junior Rotax Category was fast and very competitive, after some good fights and tough battles I lost a few positions and ended the 1st race of the day in 8th.
This mean’t I started the pre final in 8th and on the outside of the grid, which isn’t brilliant as the outside row often gets pushed wide and end up losing places or get caught in someone else’s accident. Unfortunately for me I got tagged which spun me round on the 3rd corner, this mean’t I dropped down the field almost to the back.
I was determined not to let it ruin my race and drove hard to make up as many places as possible. I ended up finishing in 11th place with a little help of some penalties for some of the other drivers in front of me.
As a result I start the final in 11th place. After a false start the race got off to an ok start. I ended up holding my position and defended my position. I finished the final in 11th out of 26 drivers.

All in all not a bad weekend of racing. Now a few weeks off until it starts all over again.
