We have purchased a new kart and we have set ourself a target of one week to fully build and prepare our next race challenger, JHR-02. By Tuesday we had picked up our new kart and were stripping the old one. By Thursday we were fitting the seat and setting pedals and by the Saturday she was complete and had run to test everything. August is a quiet month for Championship racing as we only have one official race which it later in the month, so we headed up to Grantham for a test day at PFI. We headed out on our usual Maxxis test tyres but after finding the right gearing set-up etc we decided to bolt on a brand new set of Mojo’s.
