It’s back to back race weekends for us following on from a successful championship race at Lydd last weekend. This time we were at Bayford Meadows for Round 4 of the BMKR championship and Round 2 of the Kent Cup Championship. We didn’t have outright pace but we kept at it and the results helped us up to 6th position out of 27 drivers in the KC championship. Looking forward to returning next month when we hope we can get back up the grid like we did last month. Click here to read full article
A new day and still the good news is coming in. We received a phone-call today to discuss and arrange Jacob joining Lydd’s race team and we are delighted to announce that he will be from round 4 of the IKR Summer Championship. This weekends race at Bayford will be our last one running our distinctive black and green livery because the kart will be going through a make-over and a few other little upgrades in preparation for joining our new team. Following on from our successful race meeting at Round 3 of the IKR Rotax Championship, on Monday evening we received confirmation that Jacob beat and now holds the lap record for a Junior Rotax on Maxxis Sport tyres. The lap record can only be set at an official scrutineered race event. This is a great addition to the list of fantastic achievements throughout the weekend and Jacob now holds the lap record at two karting circuits in the southeast. Click here to read full article
This weekend was the third round of the IKR Rotax Junior Championship at Lydd Kart Circuit. The weather was perfect all weekend and as always the Lydd Track looked stunning and I couldn’t wait to get out there and put some laps in. Saturdays sessions didn’t fully go to plan with the kart not behaving itself. I qualified on the front row for heat 1 in second which was my best grid start. The race start went well and once I managed to warm up my tyres I was hunting down the leader. Click here to read full article

Round two of the IKR Summer Championship at Lydd International Circuit. My pace this weekend has been very strong and I’ve enjoyed some hard fast racing in all the sessions. I was 3rd fastest in practice and qualified on the second row in 4th. I scored 83 points in total moving me up to 4th in the championship standings and to my surprise was awarded Driver of the day out of 59 drivers. Click here to read full race report >
This week we are at Bayford Meadows for the BMKR Summer Championship – Round 2. Today was a tough one and wasn’t really going my way. I had a bad qualifying so started 12th and finished heat one in 12th. Heat two I got side swiped quite hard, breaking the kart. I kept myself out of trouble in the final and worked my way up to 6th before the race was red flagged due to an accident. Click here to read more >
Last weekend was the awards ceremony for the top 3 finishers for the IKR winter championship which finished in March. The winter championship was the first time I had raced my own kart and I am delighted to announce that I came 3rd overall in the Junior Rotax class. I am really pleased with this achievement because throughout those four months we have learn’t so much about the kart.
