Today Jacob raced for only the 2nd time as a senior driver at Brentwood Karting in preparation for this weekends All Star Cup. He qualified on pole, won the race and got fastest lap… so not a bad start.
This also marks the start of a brand new journey as Jacob has been entered into Brentwood Karting’s new Super League as a seeded driver. This is a championship that consists of the best 22 senior drivers at Brentwood out of 77 entries (based on the last championship). Jacob made the rankings to become a seeded driver, so he really has to prove himself in his first senior championship.
He is really looking forward to the challenge as the size of the kart, the weight limits and the driving competition is closer to what he is used to in owner kart racing.
