It’s our first race weekend back with our new kart (JHR-02) and Saturday testing couldn’t have gone much better. The first couple of sessions were ironing out any small set-up issues we had, getting the kart comfortable for the driver and making sure everything was running as it should. The demise of our chassis marked a difficult race
It’s the 5th round of the BMKR summer championship and our results at this circuit have been improving throughout the season. We had our first podium only two races ago so we were hopeful of a good result this weekend. Mixed weekend for JHR at BMKR Round 4
This weekend was round four of the BMKR Summer Championship. It’s been a mixed weekend with the weather, track conditions and a broken chassis for most of our running on Sunday. We did the best we could and didn’t give up in difficult and frustrating conditions. But as they say, these things happen in motorsport. Front row start and podium finish at BMKR
This weekend was round three of the BMKR Summer Championship. Saturday testing went well and the kart was feeling good for Sundays race. Jacob qualified on the front row for the race in 2nd, although the top three had identical lap times. Bayford is a track that we have been working hard at and we push every month to work our way up the grid. This weekend turned out to be our best so far. Click here to read full article
Round 1 of the BMKC 2023 Championship
This weekend is the start of the BMKR 2023 championship. The weekend started wet & cold with conditions improving for Sunday’s race. Qualifying didn’t quite go to plan. On lights out in the first pre-final I held my position and pushed as hard as I could to make up some places finishing the race in 10th. The 2nd pre-final I finished where I started and the final was a slight improvement with a drop nose penalty. Click here to read full article
Final round of the BMKR winter championship
Final round of the BMKR winter championship. Saturday was very wet and cold and Sunday was cold. Working out how to get the best of the tyres was a challenge this weekend. We didn’t reach our potential this weekend, only just making it into the top 10. We did however finish the championship in 8th place overall out of 25 drivers, so pretty happy with that as it was our first winter championship. Click here to read full article
A weekend to forget at BMKR Winter R2
It’s back to back race weekends as we arrive at Bayford Meadows for round 2 of the Junior Rotax winter championship. Saturday practice went well, we were fast, the kart felt good and lap times showed that. 2023 Winter Championship starts at Bayford
The 2023 season started this weekend with Round One of the BMKR winter championship at Bayford Meadows. It was great to be back on track after the Christmas and new year break. Tricky conditions result in up and down race weekend
This weekend marks the final round of the BMKR 2022 Championship, round 9. The weekends weather has been up and down all weekend with a lot of dry and wet running. This was good because it enabled us to be able to fully set-up the kart for the extremely wet conditions so we were hopeful of a strong finish to the season. Click here to read full article
BMKR Championship, Round 8, Bayford Meadows
